How about an Easter keepsake, something that can be used year after year and passed down in the family? The bags below were made to use for the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. I picked up two denim blanks from WalMart and added my own touches for my grandchildren. Imagine what you could do with some of the fabulous Easter fabric available. Personalize your collection bags with the child's name to make it even more special.

Notice the bag below is made using identical designs, but with different colors and style. Not all little girls love pink and purple with ruffles and don't forget the little guys out there.

Don't know if the new arrival is a boy or a girl? Use colors and fabric that can go either way. This bib was embroidered with the small, 4x4, size applique

	Here is a Valentine gift bag that girls of all ages would love to receive. It can have anything from kisses to lollipops or just use the word "Love" and tuck in some bubble bath and body lotion, a fun game or any other special gift for that special lady in your life. Talk about easy -- this is nothing more than a rectangle with an embroidered square appliqued to one half to form the front of the bag. Fold in half and sew the side edge together, right sides together. Fold a 2" strip, cut slightly smaller than the top edge of the bag, in half . This will form the top casing. Finish the ends, then sew, using a narrow 1/8" seam allowance, flat lace on to the folded edge which forms the top edge of the casing. Starting in the center of the front of the bag, sew the strip to the top of the bag and press up to form the casing. Topstitch the seam down around the top edge. Finish by sewing the bottom seam, inserting a ribbon through the casing and tying some beads to the ends of the ribbon.
